Located near the lake, this western, style hotel is a great option for tourists who prefer a familiar style of lodging. Guests can enjoy the all, you, can, eat crab dinner buffet and French cuisine in the nearby restaurant, or take guided nature hikes and canoe trips. to the Japanese, style onsen, the hotel provides excellent views of the lake and possible sightings of autumnal foliage and mountains.
The communication with the front desk staff may be a challenge due to the limited English speaking ability, as one reviewer mentioned.

Stunning lake view, serene location, friendly staff and good facilities. The hotel sits right by the lake, offering tranquil views of the caldera and the island. The location is perfect for those who wish to relax and enjoy nature. The hotel staff was welcoming and helpful, and the facilities such as the convenience store and game center in the basement were convenient. Moreover, the hotel was spotlessly clean.

The view from my room was breathtaking, the scenery around the hotel is stunning and the location is peaceful. There were free toiletries in the bathroom and plenty of towels provided. The hotel is in close proximity to a beautiful lake and hot springs.
During check-in, we struggled to communicate due to language barriers. The buffet was overpriced, the quality and selection of food were below expectations.

The hotel has a stunning location right by a beautiful lake and hot springs. the room views of the surrounding area were extraordinary. the food quality at the on, site eating facility had a range of dishes from the local area, which was perfect for experiencing Hokkaido's local cuisine.
The hotel is located deep within Hokkaido, making it challenging to reach, particularly if you do not have your vehicle. there are no coffee shops or spots around to enjoy watching the surroundings, and non, car guests feel isolated and cut, off in the woods.
